Hey does anyone have any accurate predictions on what the exam is going to be on?

I thought it was amazing! It was so easy

I liked it too tbf! I loved tv crime drama and video games, but I felt the magazine questions were more vague 😭I for the second question on decoding and I don’t know if I focused on question enough

Yea I got a bit confused on that one too but I couldn't do the other question

Yeah neither! I did vogue as my mainstream and I couldn’t think of big binary oppositions 😭 what set texts did you do?

I did Men’s Health and Woman magazine but i did the binary oppositions one and just talked about men and women representation😩i don’t think i picked enough binary oppositions but i was not doing reception i hate that theory

I did Vogue and Woman’s Realm and whilst there were loads of binary oppositions for WR and I genuinely couldn’t think of enough for modern Vogue because it’s like all women 💀 I hate reception too, and it was so vague so I’m hoping my other two questions went better

i was the most confident for video games and i thought the questions were great for that section, i did gta and the sims 4, but i should’ve answered the stereotypes one instead of the gender one💔by the time i got to that tho i was getting delirious so i don’t think my answers were making sense😍the tv one was fine too i think, i did the historical one instead of the european because in inspector morse i just talked about how women were marginalised, it’s just the magazine section that threw me off completely because they chose the worst theories possible😩it was so theory heavy tho i thought, i revised industry because they usually throw that in but there was none i was so annoyed

Yes! I focused my revision mostly on industry too! I was so shocked it didn't come up
