Advanced Learner Loan?

So i’m hoping to return to education, i’m wanting to go back to college to do a level 3 course, however the course i’m wanting to do requires you to have done the level 2 in order to progress onto the level 3 year. I know the level 3 year would be funded by an advanced learner loan for me, but would the level 2 also be able to be funded as it’s the only way i can progress to the level 3? or would i have to pay this myself?
