How to apply for PVG for Medicine?

I've accepted my offer at UofGlasgow for medicine. My condition says I need a "Satisfactory PVG application submitted by July 5 2024" and "Completed Health Check." How am I meant to complete this? Or is it done by the university? I'm the first person in my family to go to university in the UK so I don't really know what I'm doing.

Hiya the admissions team will send the application for you but you have to upload specific documents to the Glasgow uni portal for them to use in your application. They specify in the email what documents to upload to your portal. There also should be a link in the email they sent you with some questions to fill out for your application 🙂

Hey I've just gotten everything sorted. If you check your emails from them there should be a couple emails about documents you need to submit. If you log into the applicant self service and look at the applications section there will be a to do list where you submit the documents.

Thanks, I’ve got nothing in mine yet I’ve been checking every few days, did you accept the offer as your firm choice, because I did mine as insurance so I wonder if I will not need to give the documents until results day, thanks anyway

I would suggest pragmatically that it's probably worthwhile to just contact the uni directly to confirm you don't need to take any action at this stage. At the very least this will give you peace of mind if they confirm you don't need to do anything further now, and if you DO need to do something else and the email has gone astray somewhere, you can start getting that sorted with them by identifying it earlier rather than later.
