Should I do medicine

I am studying biology, food and nutrition and history at ALevel predicted 3 As. At GCSE I got 8As and 2A*s. I am considering Dietetics, physiotherapy, or Medicine if I took a gap year. I would do Chemistry the UCAT etc and work on my extra curriculars. But I don't know if I'm ready to dedicate my life to medicine im not that passionate, and I don't know if I could keep up academically. What should I do ?

you have to complete a levels in a 2 year period so your grades wouldn't count. As someone who just got an offer for Lancaster medical school , the med application was probably one of the worst things ive ever done. I had to do both cat and bmat and didn't have. break in the summer as ucats took over. trust me it is actually awful. But I wanna do this and sadly this is the only path. So if you do choose to be ready to brunt probably the worst year of your life.

That's not exactly how it works. While they want to see students have done 3 A-levels in the usual 2 year period, medical schools have varying policies for students who then do an additional A-level(s) in a gap year to meet the entry requirements.
