I would like to study either Electrical, Mechanical or Software/computer. I'm in year 12 so I have a bit of time, but I would like to know which of these unis is best for graduate prospects in the above courses and teaching excellence? thanks

Graduate prospects are all very comparable between these universities.
Teaching is always difficult to compare, according to TEF (used to evaluate teaching at universities), Bath & Warwick are both TEF gold (the highest available teaching rating), whilst Soton & Bristol are both Silver (the second tier).
Southampton & Bristol both have larger engineering research faculties which whilst not directly teaching, it does mean you’ll get exposure and opportunities to engage with more experts in a wider range of technical areas. Although Bath does have an excellent automotive propulsion research & warwick has the WMG which again some of the best automotive manufacturing research.
Southampton has very strong aerospace, aero/fluids & maritime links. Bristol probably the strongest connections within the aerospace industry.
Ultimately they are all great unis, and probably worth considering where in the country you want to live, the type & size of city, cost of living, transport...
Some other unis comparable reputation wise to these unis for engineering are: Loughborough, Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Strathclyde.
thanks a lot, its just im not sure what industry i wanna go into yet, ill do more research on that, but the information you've provided definitely helps!
