Hi, I'm in the process of doing my gcse and feel like I wont get very good. If my grades are as follows: 77777666655 These I've predicted based on how the papers I've found went, will I still be able to attend medical school? On my list, I have St Georges, Queen Marys, UCL, Imperial College London

2 early to be thinking like that.. get ur gcses, get ur yr12 predicted of A*AA at least (which will be much harder than gcses), then do ucat and see what uni ur ucat lets u apply to
I agree with previous post, but make sure that you meet GCSE minimum requirement for these univs , If you got 5 in Eng language or math you may need to resit the exam to get the best chance of applying to majority of universities.

Imperial and UCL don't score GCSEs and just require minimum grades in English and Maths. You will need to go and actually check the requirements and understand how the medical schools you want to apply to shortlist instead of just blindly applying and assuming they do or don't score GCSEs and yours will or won't meet those requirements to get an interview.

You'll have to go on the universities' requirements page and look at what grades they want. Some unis dont care that much about GCSES but others do. Generally, to get into good universities, like imperial, you need to get 3 A* but that is subjective. I know a guy who got 4 A* but didn't get into imperial bc of his interview. I say just focus on your a-levels, but dont neglect GCSES. Do some work experience this summer to get a head start. other than that, dont stress too much
