I mean bio papers usually have around maximum 10 marks for calculations so it's separately not a whole grade boundary. Biology math questions are usually really different there aren't like staple steps or calculations you need to learn. But you can improve by trying a lot of calculations from past papers it will help you understand how to approach and analyse the information given to you in the question and therefore how to calculate it.

I'm literally the same (and I do A Level Math lol), but there is not much you can prepare in terms of 'learning it', you're just going to have to practice them, so you become familiar with them. A lot of my classmates said that Biology math questions can best be approached using ratios, or 2^n for calculating cycles. Honestly, some of them require a lot of thinking just for 1-2 marks, so don't stress it. If you're in an exam and you've spent more than 5-10 minutes, just move on it won't make much difference to your grade. I've listed a document of past paper questions on maths questions, it might help!

I recommend CGP Maths Skills for A Level Biology book, and also MME Revise Maths Skills for A Level Bio.

So I did a level bio last year and let me tell you bio math isn’t math. Most people wouldn’t even get 1 mark let alone all of them so it’s honestly amazing you got some. What I realised is that the maths question are repetitive so when you practice a ton of them you’ll realise it’s all the same with the same formula so learn those formulas.
