Thanks for the hub of links. You might want to remove this bit from the 'who can apply through clearing section as it is incorrect "- Wish to switch to another university, even if you are holding an unconditional offer.". It also contradicts the point immediately above, "- Don't currently hold any offers from universities.".

You can speak to unis if you are holding an offer or confirmed place, but many will not want to get very far with you, and won't issue a clearing offer which could make it a waste of your time.
Hi, thanks for your feedback @Admit-One,

We've listed different scenarios that people may be in when they come to apply through Clearing so the bullet points are independent of one another, rather than linked. So someone who does not hold any offers may wish to apply through Clearing, and someone else may have exceeded their predicted grades, have an unconditional offer, but wish to switch universities so they may choose to decline their original offer if they find another place through Clearing.

Applying through Clearing can feel quite overwhelming and complicated, so whatever someone's situation, we're always happy to chat through applicants' options.

You should make it unambiguous that you cannot APPLY elsewhere in clearing while holding a firm offer. The “decline my place” option allows applicants to place themselves into clearing and informal approaches can be made elsewhere while holding a firm offer but a formal clearing application can not be added until a firm place has been declined.
