Using AI to help revise - how it can be an incredible asset for essay subjects

Revising for maths or sciences is somewhat easy because you can do a practice question and then mark it right or wrong. But what about the essay subjects? They take ages to mark, so you can't bang out a bunch of practice essays and mark them instantly. And they require someone else's subjective judgement to give an accurate mark, so you can't even mark them on your own. Or can you? Using ChatGPT to revise for my GCSEs has been one of the best assets for me. Write out an essay or an essay plan, copy it into ChatGPT (specify exam board and GCSE so it can find the mark scheme) and ask it to mark it and give feedback. This works amazingly for history - the AI understands how marks are gained and will be able to rewrite parts that need it. It works less well for stuff like English Lit because the AI will not have amazing knowledge about the text. You can also ask ChatGPT to give you quizzes - just ask for 20 short questions about a certain subject. AI is becoming a huge part of day to day life: use it to your advantage! :smile:
