Anyone that does edexel biology and chemistry triple, how do you get a 9, because in mocks I got 150 on each(need 160s for a 9), and I don't know how to improve. Especially, chemistry where the content is easy, I should be getting a 9, any tips to bump my grade by a little bit more.

Do past paper questions
Identify weak areas
Improve weak areas
Repeat
Good luck!

Alternatively if you have these mocks then just use these to instantly identify your weak areas

Also PMT have questions by topic which may be helpful

Hi, I didn’t do edexcel for gcse but here are some general tips for gcse sciences. I got a 9 in bio and chem and 8 in physics last year:
. Practice past papers. But this time you need to focus on the harder application questions, or the 5 markers, or the maths skill questions, whichever one you need to focus on the most. Identify which area you struggle in. Being able to excel in application questions with unfamiliar contexts is what distinguishes a grade 7 from a grade 8 or 9.
. I recommend the CGP Target Grade 9 workbooks.
. Make sure you are familiar with required practicals.
. Practice using physics maths tutor for any topics you struggle with, making sure you have watched YouTube videos (e.g Cognito), to refresh your understanding of the topics first.
