How lenient is York with history admissions?

So I got a contextual offer from UoY to study history - ABB with the A in history being "essential". The typical requirement is AAA and i'm quite confident that i'll get an A/A* in two subjects but not sure that an A in history is achievable for me (a high B is realistic). I've got an A* in EPQ and was wondering if anyone knows if York would be lenient to accept me (I put it as my firm) if I get A*AB with an A* in EPQ? Has anybody else had this experience?

Congratulations of your offer. Your contextual offer is specific for you so it might not be accurate to compare to other people. I'd suggest dropping history admissions an email on [email protected] with your question. They're really nice and will know the answer better than anyone 🙂
