HE and FE finance

Application in for HE Student finance as an independent (over 25) student (on PIP).

Quite likely that an offer will not be made for this year however (uni has until 17th July to decide)

Is it possible/advisable to get the separate FE finance application for tuition fees in as well, in case that's the only avenue open? (At this stage would be putting down fairly random institution/course)

Hi there, sorry, can you clarify what you mean? When does your course begin and is it full funding you're looking for? Thanks, Jason

Higher Education - tuition and maintenance
Further Education - I think only tuition can be paid? (Tuition fees apply due to age) Would be classed as full time course (we're talking foundation art (1 year) or level 3 extended diploma (2 years))
To start next academic year ie Sept 2024

If it's a level 3 course you'd apply to the Advance Learner Team. They'll be able to advise you on eligibility and how to apply for this by contacting them on 0300 100 0619. If they study a one year foundation course then they'd apply through us. Thanks, Jason
