Arabic A level help

Hey everyone, I am thinking about taking an Arabic A level as an independent student. I am homeschooled and British but have been learning Egyptian Arabic in Egypt for the last few years so have some basic understanding.
I would primarily love some help knowing what exam board to use, so if anyone has any experience or recommendations would love some advice. I've mainly been looking so far at CIE, Edexcel and Edexcel international

Hi, thank you for the response.
I'm currently based between Egypt and the UK but have options to sit exams in other countries if that would be better

I’d say do it in the Uk, it will be a bit easier and you know how exams work

My only thoughts is the Edexcel IAL looks kind of easier.
And my sister's have taken exams in other countries, we are very used to international life.

Well what I think the best thing to do is get past papers from different exam boards and see which one seems easier to you

OCR and AQA don’t do any Arabic. In the Uk its only Edexcel

It isn't advertised on there so you'd have to contact the email address but this tutoring business can do A level MSA tutoring.

They don't offer international which is what I'm worried about.
I am also doing first language 😬

How did you manage?

again it might not be advertised but would definitely offer international.
But also, what do you mean you're taking first language? Can you tell me what the subject code is? I didn't think there was a first language Arabic A level

I'm doing YAA01 but at year 12 we had the choice of First language or Second so I assumed so 🤷🏽*♀️

Okay yeah, that looks like what I might end up doing (haven't decided which examining board I'm going to do yet). I hadn't seen anything to say that that's a first language nor does it seem any more difficult than other examining boards.
Are you taking Arabic at your school?

I am doing the A2 privately like you.

The AS was harder than the normal board and Cambridge so I assumed A2 would be the same. Although I hope not.

If you have any tips please let me know and , if you don't mind, could I ask a few questions regards studying for it?

Okay cool, and sure, I don't know how much help I will be as I haven't taken either part yet (As or A2) but I'm happy to answer questions where I can
