Probably failed my maths gcse paper 1

I do Edexcel maths and I acc flopped. Like people keep telling me : oh that was so hard, but NONE of them got nearly as many I got wrong 😭 I need a 7 for maths a level but that was so bad I don’t even want to know what I got. I got the Venn diagram question wrong, the cuboid one, SO MANY 1 markers, the histogram question, the triangle question, the transformation, the jar question like the list is EXTENSIVE. And paper 1 was meant to be my best paper 😭 how can I save this? I’m so bad at paper 2 and 3 usually paper 1 saves me but not anymore. What should I do?

aww i'm so sorry to hear about that, but u can deffo pull it through with paper 2 and 3!

honestly, just do all the past papers. mark them and once you've figured out your weaker areas (ie the questions you lost marks in), watch videos on them and do a few practice questions, until you get the hang of it
trust me this really helps you understand the harder stuff wayyyy more

I feel like most students found it hard, hopefully the grade boundaries will be lowered. I am also aiming to try to get better in P2 and P3, keep doing practice questions and try the predicted papers that will be coming out soon. And memorise formulas that we need for volume of shapes + triangle formulas etc. Don't think about it too much, just try your best 😉

try the first class maths predicted papers, apparently they were really accurate for paper 1 (according to my friends)
