Gcse chemistry prediction fail will i still need to resit if i don't need it?

I predict that I will most likely fail in my chemistry GCSES, that is the one gcse that I KNOW i am NOT good at and HATE- I do not understand it at all, and i have not been able to understand it at all - it is genuinely impossible for me to learn as everything is way too confusing and there is too many contradictory things to remember.

I am just checking though if I will need to resit Chemistry even if I do not need it, as I am doing graphic design in college and my minimum entry requirement is four 4's in gcses.

I think that you need to resit English Lang and Maths if you fail and that's it. If GCSE Chemistry is not required for the course (at Uni and HE in general) or Sixth Form/College, then I can't see why you'd need to resit.
