bad predicted grades- apply to med?

Hi, I’m in Y12 and I take biology, chemistry and psychology. I’ve recently done my mocks but they went horribly for many reasons. I feel like everything is going wrong for me right now. I feel really alone too because I’m the first in my family to go to uni yet alone try for med and I’m not sure who to approach for advice on these sorts of things. atleast 1 teacher from each subject has left before my mocks and there have been no replacements so I have frequently been stuck teaching myself content. I’m still teaching myself content because 2 are on maternity leave, 1 has a really sick son right now and the other is recovering from a surgery. It hasn’t really shaken my confidence or anything im determined to improve but I think it might be too late. I wanted to apply to medicine but my mocks went really bad, im assuming my predicted grades are going to be BCC-BBC. My chemistry teacher said there’s still time for me to be able to improve my grade before the end of the year due to homeworks and in class assessments so if I do get BBC the Bs would be chemistry and psychology. But my biology teacher is set on predicted grades being maximum one grade above mocks so My predicted will definitely be a C. The good thing is that I am WP and definitely meet requirements for contextual offers so I was thinking of applying to gateway medicine as I’m more than happy to be in uni an extra year as long as I can study medicine, maybe 3/5 or 4/5uni choices would be gateway med and the other 1 or 2 would be something else like psychology, pharmacology or biomed but I’m not sure. Any advice on if I should apply to gateway med, any other alternative uni choices, how to improve grades/revision techniques, how to stand out when applying to gateway med OH AND UCAT REVISING ADVICE I’m really hoping for a good score. I’m going to revise everything regularly and practice exam Qs and I’m going to get a tutor to help me with biology and chemistry for extra support. Any advice would be appreciated please. I’ll be happy to expand further on where I went wrong in my mocks for specific subjects

So my advise is while you are studying UCAT .

1.

make time to research all the gateway courses I think there is 10 . then add them to list and research each one that you have minimum requirement (GCSE and mainly the contextual criteria , some wants to fulfill two condition and some 3....etc )

2.

also add to list all the univs that don't look at predicted grades like (Liverpool, nottingham,lincoln,....etc) I think there is 5 or 6 not sure , look at minimum requirement , Do you meet it ?

3.

also add univs that allows contextual offer in there standard course , so that offer will be less than the typical AAA , I remember that Newcastle contextual (partners ) allow BBB.

So have long list of all univs then start eliminating using first GCSE requirement then wait until you get your predicted grades then eliminate the ones that look at predicted grades and last your UCAT. (some gateway don't look at ucat, more important is that you fulfill all the conditions they want ).
