What does collapsing my student finance application do?

how do i change it or cancel it, can i collapse the application

I made a mistake about my parents, i uploaded both of there emails and names, but i only live with 1 and have no contact with the other.

I want to ammend it so that only my mum is on my student finance account i dont want to fill out a form for my dads details.

Hi there,

If you cancel and reapply it can take up to 8 weeks for processing. You'd be best to contact us directly as your Mother can complete a Marital Status Declaration form which we'd need to email over. With her completing this form we wouldn't require the 2nd sponsor details. She'd also need to complete a PFF2 form which is located here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/support-your-child-or-partners-student-finance-application-2024-to-2025 Both the forms can be uploaded to your online account, if you contact directly we can email the Marital form and it'll take 22 working days for processing.

Hi-
I called student finance gov and they said to cancel and re-apply so i cancelled my application? and was just about to re-apply? why would it take 8 weeks the deadline is today?? my sibling filled out the PFF2 form already so i can use that? but ive already cancelled the application so im going to re-apply i think?

im not sure on what to do.

Hi,

Was the PFF2 just for your sibling or are your details also included on it? Applications take time to process which is why I advised of the 8 week timescale. We'd still require your Mother to do the Marital Status Declaration form.
