Does it matter whether you get an A1 or A2 in your SQA exams

^^^^^
When you receive your results, you are not given your grades with specific bands, only a letter grade of A-D [or a fail, I suppose]. In terms of applying for university, they don't ask for specific grade bands anyway [apart from a few specific places] so it doesn't matter. But if you really want to know your grade bands you can ask your school as they get more specific information about your results than you do.
thanks

yeah mainly just a few English unis will ask for your bands, however they are still more likely to care about ur Advanced higher bands if u hold a conditional offer at an English uni
