What are your plans after GCSE? Are you confident that you would be able to get into 6th form?
2.
What specific job do you want to do or what do you specifically want to study after GCSE?
3.
If you have to resit your GCSE Maths privately, which exam board would you want to sit with?
4.
What is your budget like?
5.
Do you intend to resit any other GCSEs other than Maths? Do note, you only need 5 GCSEs grade 5+ in order to get into uni and college (more college than uni since most degrees only ask for Maths and English Language).

OK. In which case, you don't really need to redo GCSE Maths (especially when you are doing a degree apprenticeship and you managed to get into 6th form). However, you can sometimes resit it whilst you are studying your A Levels at the 6th form that you will study at, but you will need to check what the 6th form says about this.
2.
Nice. What are the entry requirements for it specifically? Do you need GCSE Maths to be of a higher tier?
3.
To sit the exam paper as a private candidate (i.e. not through your current school or future 6th form), you would typically go to the following webpage on EdExcel's website: https://qualifications.pearson.com/en/support/support-topics/understanding-our-qualifications/where-can-i-take-edexcel-exams.html, which in turn would point you to the following website to locate exam centres which accept private candidates for EdExcel: https://www.jcq.org.uk/private-candidates/?user-postcode=b1+1be&user-lat=52.4774016&user-lon=-1.9024687&qualification-type=gcse&awarding-body=pearson&gcse-subject=34& (after applying all filters). I count there being 9 centres for GCSE Maths within Birmingham based on a random Birmingham postcode that I put in (B1 1BE; adjust the parameters as you see fit). After the second page (12 results), the exam centres' locations would become increasingly sparse and stretch as far as Leicester. I wouldn't recommend going further than this. Locations at Walsall, Stourbridge, and Nuneaton would likely be cheaper than that in Birmingham because they are public schools (as opposed to private companies) based in fairly remote locations outside of the city borough.
4.
When sitting an exam privately with any of the exam boards, you will typically require to pay 2 fees to the exam centre: exam fee (for the actual exam) and the admin fee (the fee for the centre hosting your exam). Attached is the exam fee schedule for EdExcel qualifications: https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/Support/Fees-for-academic-and-vocational-qualifications/uk-general-qualification-fees-2023-24.pdf The fee for GCSE Maths exam is £50. Exam centres don't usually charge more than 1x of the exam fee on top, but I have difficulty finding such information on the JCQ website. I would be very surprised if they charge you more than £300 in total for one GCSE; £200 is more common.

Why iGCSE as opposed to GCSE? If you get 5s, is this enough for your apprenticeship and 6th form? If you have completed the practicals for your sciences and you pass them, you generally can transfer your results for your practicals over to your resits for your GCSE exams (you will need to check on this though), but that's if you do the UK GCSEs as opposed to iGCSEs which is a set of different qualifications (even though it's at the same level and they're practically the same).
