how unconditional is an unconditional offer?

i received 4 conditional offers, 2 have now been changed to unconditional. i think this is to do with strikes at colleges affecting grades/ grades not being given on time. i’ve messed up my college course big time due to health issues, haven’t submitted any work since january and won’t have a grade for the graded unit. is the offer still valid? for both offers the conditions were to pass this course before they were updated.

Hey,

First off, congratulations on receiving four conditional offers and having two changed to unconditional! That’s fantastic news.

Given your situation with health issues and the strikes affecting your grades, it's important to get clarity on your offers. If the conditions were originally to pass your course but have now been updated to unconditional, you should be in a good position. However, to be sure, I’d recommend reaching out directly to the universities.

You can call or email the admissions offices at the universities that have made you offers. Explain your situation and ask them to confirm whether your offer is still valid given the issues with your college course. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate information.

Additionally, talking to your college advisors can also be beneficial. They might have experience dealing with similar situations and can offer guidance or even communicate with the universities on your behalf.

It’s important to address this as soon as possible to confidently plan your next steps. Best of luck and take care of your health!
