A-Level Chemistry + Biology

Hi! I'm currently a Y11 student who plans on doing A-Level Biology and Chemistry next year - is there anything people currently doing these subjects recommend doing over the summer to prepare for this?

https://www.chemguide.co.uk/ Is useful. It is not specific to an exam board, and it covers a lot of A Level stuff.

Hi! Primrose kitten has some workbooks that will help with bridging into A Level. I also recommend the CGP Bridging books.

Biology I would recommend previewing the biological molecules topic as it is the first one you will be introduced.

Chemistry is a large step up because the atomic structure at a level is totally different to GCSE. I would recommend previewing the atomic structure topic in the CGP or primrose kitten bridging books.

I would also recommend any wider reading books that your sixth form recommends to you! For science wider reading I recommend the very short introduction books
