Did you guys get e=7/8 for the last one? And 5mu as the impulse at the start?

Reply 2

Damn it I forgot to sub in e=3/4 what a muppet 😂, yes I got 5mu for impulse!

wouldn’t it be 7/8<f<1?

Yeah I meant the inequality. I forgot the 1 part tho I'm stupid

Anyone else think the paper was suspiciously easy? I think the questions themselves were easier than the previous years

Reply 6

Was it squrt(3gh) I can’t remember 😂 - for question 3!

I can't remember fully but I think it was root of 2gh ? Atleast that's what I remember getting. Also did you get 7 over 18 for e somewhere? Or a number like that?

That was the one with collisions right? The last one so the thing talked about earlier

Yeah I meant the actual question tho. I think particle P was projected at Q with speed u and then P revered direction with speed u/5 x (4e-1). But I can’t remember if Q was initially stationary or not. I got the wrong answer in the exam for part c which makes me think I may have read the question wrong initially cuz in the exam I did it with Q being initially stationary but now I’m not sure if it said that

Yes I got 7/18 for e on the first question - I think that it was?

I think ill get 36/40, because I couldn't finish the last 4 marker to find a range for f, but otherwise it was quite good. I hope the grade boundaries are low tho, cause I think overall ill get 110 - 112 , and in 2023 you needed a 109 for an A, so i hope they don't increase the grade boundaries. FINGERSS CROSSEDDDD GUYSSS, LETS HOPE THEY AREN'T HIGHHHH

Wasn’t root(2gh) the speed that it already had when it was at the edge of the slope (the value it gave you in the question). I got 2 x root(gh) since it wanted thespeed when it hits the ground after falling from heighth with root(2gh) as the intitial speed. Unless I’m just not remembering the question or my answer correctly lol
