Struggling to find a job after university

Hello everyone, I am new to this. I have a question. Can anyone please help? I went to university to study Computing Data & Information Systems HNC part time for two years from 2019 to 2021. I graduated in 2021 and I am struggling to find a job that will match this qualification. I have been trying to apply to every job that matches this qualification and requirements but I always get a reply saying that I don't have any experience. I once attended an interview after applying for over 150 jobs and they seemed very uninterested and dissatisfied for the fact that I don't have any experience. I keep thinking to myself, how can I gather experience in this type of job sector when nobody wants to give me a chance. I applied for even the most basic jobs that match this qualification and nothing. My CV is quite strong with plenty of work references and qualifications. I have always aspired to have a job in IT such as IT technician but I am really struggling to find something even with help from friends. Now just to mention that I always studied IT related subjects even at GCSE and A-Level and always achieving good grades. For my HNC I achieved a Merit. Any help regarding this is very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

So the question is, how do you gain some experience, not how do you get a job. You know how to do that. Sadly I am afraid you are learning the hard way that qualifications pretty much count for nothing and experience is king. So here are some things you can do:

Rather than apply to companies for a job, apply for experience. A day, a week - whatever they can offer you

Build up a portfolio. Make yourself a website (from scratch) or conduct a project in your spare time and then publish that on your website and add that to your CV.

Start answering questions on public forums like Stack Overflow and the like and again, publicise this in your portfolio. We hired a guy with no degree based on his answers on Stack Overflow

Failing all of that, stand out from the crowd. Write hand written letters to companies and cellotape a pound to the letter to pay for a return of post. Advertise your skills and show willing but don't mention how hard it is to get a job. We gave some work to a marketing grad who used this technique. He was utterly charming.

Good luck!
