Home Student Status - Taking A-Levels abroad?? advice please

Hi,
I am British national and have lived in the UK since birth
Currently I am studying in London for my GCSEs which I expect to take in May/June 25.

However I might be moving to another country to take my A-Levels exams in that other country.
I will be making regular trips to UK to live in our house and visit family and friends.

I intend to return back to UK in July 2027 to pursue a university degree.
So I got 2 questions:

1. Will I be considered a home student for university degree fee in 2027 by virtue of my connections in the UK.

2. Could my 2 year absence from the UK (during which time I will be making regular trips to the UK) be considered as temporary absence without affecting my student fees status

Hi there,

1.

We don't set what fees you're charged, that's up to the university, so we'd suggest checking this with any university you're interested in.

2.

Time spent abroad is normally fine to long as it's temporary. We may ask to see evidence of this when you apply, for example a temporary visa or contract, or proof that you maintained a link to the UK.

Thanks, Graeme

Also what would demonstrate that links were maintained with the UK ?
