Tips for landing a part time job

Hi, Any unheard of tips for landing my first part time job as a 17 year old. Help would be greatly appreciated as I’m getting unhappy with being at home all day

hi it took me ages to get my first part time job but i’d recommend groups on Facebook and seeing if there’s anything going that would be suitable or asking yourself if there’s any jobs going on there. also u can ask friends to put in a good word for u somewhere if u ask them if where they work is looking for people (that’s what i did lol) they’re probs not unheard of tips but hope it helps and good luck with the job search :smile:

Check on companies own websites. Some companies (e.g. tesco, mcdonalds, lidl etc) have their vacancies on the careers section of their website.
Also look on indeed. Theres a lot of jobs on there.
