Police treating attack on toddlers in Belfast park as 'transphobic'
Police are treating an attack on two toddlers in a North Belfast park as a transphobic hate crime.
It is understood that the three-year-old girls had been in the playpark in Glenbryn Park with their father, who is transgender, when they were attacked by a group of other children.
Officers have said that the group had begun to shout abuse at the young girls as they played in the playground before pulling them by the hair.
