Master's application: low second year grades

Hi,

I am currently in my 3rd year (year abroad), out of 4, of a BA Korean degree at SOAS. I am considering applying for an MSc conversion degree in Computer Science at UCl, University of Kent and Queen Mary University London.

However, my grades in my second year are quite bad as I submitted multiple assignments late so I have an average of a low 2.2 for my second year.

I was diagnosed with ADHD right at the end of my second year so I couldn't get any support before this.

I am, however, confident that I can get a 2.1 overall as I have since received support for my ADHD and basically just need to submit my assignments on time in my 4th year (I would've gotten high grades in my second year if I didn't submit assignments late).

So my question is: would it be worth it to apply for a master's degree with low second year grades? Or do I have to wait until I get my final degree? I got A*s for my A-levels, but I assume this doesn't matter for a master's.
Contact their masters admissions teams directly and ask whether it may be a disadvantage. It’s a common question and they’ll be honest.
