For AQA psychology do any of you have discussions for The effect of endogenous pacemakers and exogenous zeitgebers on the sleep/wake cycle.
Hey I have one and it ain't much but it's honest work:

Strength of the importance of endogenous pacemakers: Ralph et al (1990) bred chipmunks with 20 hour sleep/ wake cycles and transplanted their suprachiasmatic nuclei into a healthy control group. The mutant's SCN made the control chipmunks change their cycles to 20 hours

for exogenous pacemakers you can use campbell and murphy

Campbell and Murphy (1998)
Woke participants in a sleep study at various times and shone light on the backs of their knees.
This produced a deviation to the pps usual sleep wake cycle of up to 3 hours.

this suppots that light controls the sleep wake cycle
