University entry requirements, biological sciences 2024

I have just changed my course for 2024 from children's nursing to biological sciences. I have been accepted into Plymouth and Brighton with these changes. The grade boundaries for Brighton have gone up by 2 grades in chemistry (B to D) and I am now worried I will not be able to achieve them. Any idea how flexible universities are? For example, they want a C in Psychology where I am pretty confident my exam went well enough to get an A. Do you think they will take this into consideration if I fell short and got a C in chemistry? Just freaking out a little, any help will be greatly appreciated!
They’ll only know how flexible they can be when they process the results of other offer holders.

But in brief, yes, there is always a chance you still might be accepted.

I'd recommend reaching out to the admissions teams nearer the time to query this, but if you have any questions about Plymouth in the meantime, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to help! 😊
