Showthread 2 is un responsive for me at times on Mobile at least

Problem Summary
Showthread 2 is un responsive for me at times on Mobile at least

Problem Details
Frequently and unexpectedly ever since the rebrand, ST2 will become unresponsive or take me to random places when I click on the button.

E.g I could click on the submit reply button and it takes me to PMs. I couId click on certain buttons such as the </> when typing a reply and nothing happens, I can try to copy and paste text, again I can’t.

What ends up happening is that I need to rotate my phone to landscape mode to see if I can get the text from my reply or more recently, I’ve effectively lost a typed out reply.

Additional Information
I have reported the issue months ago but it doesn’t look like anything is being done to resolve it or to explain why it’s happening so I’m making a thread on it.

I primarily use ST2 and TSR on mobile so it would be nice if this could be fixed or if I could be told that it won’t get or can’t get fixed.

Or the solution could be do have an autosave feature when it comes to replying so that at least when people lose their replies (I’ve seen people complain about losing replies on react as well), they’ll be saved.

Hi. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'll have another look into this and see if I can reproduce the problem. We haven't really changed anything on ST2 since the rebrand so I can't think of anything new that would be causing this.

When you say "take me to random places when I click on the button" do you mean the Switch to Showthread 2 page button? Does it go to random thread pages or the home page or is it really totally random?

Thanks for your help again.

It’s really totally random, it can take me to PMs, hidden pages, random threads, anything. And no I mean clicking on anything whilst using ST2 (submit reply could take me to PMs for example, </> button doesn’t work etc).

I’ve already raised this issue previously (privately).

Thanks for explaining more. That really is very strange but will hopefully help reproduce the problem!

I just wanted to keep you updated. We've tried a few times to reproduce the slowness and odd linking you described but haven't seen anything out of the ordinary yet. We don't do regular testing on Brave so if its specific to that browser then we may not catch the problem but I'll try to do some periodic testing on there going forward.
