Hi @nishhiii ,

Congratulations on your offer!

What made you want to pursue forensic Psychology? I am a final year undergraduate student studying Psychology (also intending to study a masters in Psychology) so do let me know if you have any questions about the staff, facilities or Canterbury itself (I have lived here for almost 10 years this year!).

Let us know what you are looking forward to!

I took a class of forensic psychology in my undergraduate and instantly fell in love. I have always been inclined towards this field and I would love to explore it at a PG level

Hi @nishhiii ,

Unfortunately I am not able to give out any personal details over the student room but I can assure you that at Kent there will be many opportunities to make friends, either through your classes or through society events.

I am not sure which buildings the classes take place as this may change but the main building for Psychology at Kent is the 'Keynes' building. You will find K-bar (a bar), Dolche vita (a restaurant) and an MSc study area for Psychology students there.

I wish you all the best with the postgraduate and glad you have found a genuine interest in the subject.

Hi @nishii ,

Unfortunately, I cannot share my personal details over TSR but we may cross paths next year!

Usually Keynes is where Psychology lectures happen but as classes are smaller in MSc you may be using buildings across campus. Once you get your timetable, I would recommend visiting campus for a day just to get your bearings and explore and although it becomes easier with time, try to remember where the buildings you might be going to are.

Google maps is great if you put the location of a building, feel free to also go inside and explore them to see which class is yours and if you cannot find it usually you can ask someone walking past but definitely ask reception. The buildings are pretty well signposted but I know first time going into them can make you feel a bit overwhelmed.

I hope this helps.

Hi @nishii ,

I can see the genuine passion! I hope you fall further in love with it at PG level and enjoy it!

Please do not forget that there are many services if you ever need help with pastoral, academic or careers support. Here is a link to explore to show yourself and other students what services they may need if they ever need any help: https://www.kent.ac.uk/student-services.

I hope this helps and happy to answer any questions if you have them.
