Christmas Carol and Eng Lit Help Me plssss

Someone I beg help, I'm learning An Inspector Calls and A Christmas Carol and nothing is making sense in A Christmas Carol. Like I genuinely don't understand how to answer a Christmas Carol Question because I have no idea what the question is asking or what there is in the extract. Also, my essays in AIC has acc become worse so does anyone have tips??? ty!!!

okay so just begin with an introduction that contains a brief summary of what the extract is about and if you are sure, add what act/stave it is from. then pick preferably 3+ quotes from the extract and try and analyse them as best as you can. make sure to zoom in on key words. then after you have done 3 quotes, move onto the wider novel and try to do 4+ quotes from your own knowledge that still continue to answer the question. if you have time a brief conclusion is handy but not completely necessary. don't worry, sometimes the adrenaline kicks in and all of a sudden it goes much better than expected. also what exam board do you do?

when looking at quotes always try and look out for things like metaphors, similes, repetition, triadic structure, etc. and make sure to mention them. terminology is super important. also remember 5 marks for spag so even if you cant answer well you can maybe try and gain those five marks
