Hi Adnan,

There is a lot to consider when choosing a course, so we advise carefully reading what the courses have to offer. You have already mentioned our MSc Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology; you can find more information about the course and entry requirements here ➡️

https://www.canterbury.ac.uk/study-here/courses/postgraduate/advanced-manufacturing-systems-and-technology

Another important consideration is the location. We are based in the historic city of Canterbury, a short walk from the city centre in the heart of Kent. You can find out more here ➡️

And information about our accommodation ➡️

Hi Adnan,

It's great you're considering Herts for your postgrad studies. In terms of location, Herts is conveniently located, just 25 mins north of London by train, meaning you have the best of both worlds: the benefits of a green and vibrant campus with all facilities at your fingertips, and then a short train ride away from London, with all the social, learning and career opportunities this offers. Do take a look at our Herts and beyond page for a favour of things to do in and around the area.

We're proud to have been ranked 2nd overall for student experience in the most recent Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES, Advance HE, 2023), reflecting the quality of our provision. Our postgrads enjoy excellent employment prospects, with 93% in work or further study. Our automotive engineering graduates typically work for organisations including McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes

You'd be studying in our brand new School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science building that opens this September - this will offer a truly fantastic environment, with experiential learning and industry-standard facilities.

On our MSc Automotive Engineering course, you will benefit from our long-established links with leading companies such as BMW, Nissan and McLaren, who support with work placements and attend our careers fairs and practical workshops.

I hope this helps with your decision-making. We're holding an online postgraduate event in June, where you would be able to speak directly to the course leader to find out more - if this sounds like it could be helpful, you can sign up here.

Let me know if you have any other queries that we can help with.

All the best,
Gaynor

Canterbury is small city , you won't get part time job. Don't expect a job in UK after finishing your masters. All master degree holders doing part time jobs to survive. You are coming for high quality education that never ever give jobs in UK.

I would disagree with this comment. Many of our students find part time jobs, either with businesses in town, or work flexibly for the university as an ambassador, representing the university at events and things like that. Canterbury Christ Church University is also #1 in the UK for Graduate employment.
