English Paper 2025 Predictions - GCSE Pearson Edexcel

Hi! I'm doing my GCSEs in 2025 and I was wondering if anyone has any predictions for what may come up next year.
I am doing Jekyll and Hyde, Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet, and Relationships for poetry.

Any predictions for other texts will be great! My school is doing A Christmas Carol for the lower sets and I've got friends doing Macbeth and Conflict for poetry.

About to do a J+H exam so I’ll let you know about that after. As for Macbeth, kingship betrayal and supernatural haven’t come up in quite a while

So the extract that came up was lanyon, and the overall text question was about death.

If I had to guess, an utterson extract with a question about suspicion would be my prediction, but don’t rely on predictions too heavily they’re often not accurate 😅

In my school we all do Macbeth, A Christmas carol, An inspector calls and power and conflict poetry even if your in higher or lower sets

hi! Im doing edexcel english and we do jekyll and hyde, romeo and juliet and lord of the flies then the conflict poems. our prediction mocks this year was how jekylls motivations were shown in his letter to utterson and the whole text was on reputation - what was yours?

You guys have prediction mocks? We only have past papers as our mocks. Thank you for your prediction! I'm awful at english so I've been doing a considerable amount of essays on all the themes and characters.

we doooo! my teachers are v proactive so they do it every year and get it very similar most years, I've asked my teacher for a list of all the predicitons they were choosing between so I can practice with them
