is it possible to go from an e to a c in geography a level?

i got an e in my as level mocks i did in april for geography and i feel so demotivated and upset about my results and it genuinely has me so stressed out. my sixth form said they'd do another resit but if we fail the resit we could get kicked out, im so terrified that ill fail the resit and i dont want to get kicked out because where am i going to go. i dont want to redo a year either or find a new college. i actually like my life at the sixth form but the exam is just hell for me and it just makes me so scared. im studying but im scared it wont be worth it and ill fail again. i dont know what to do :frown:(((

I assume you are in year 13. If so, the best thing to do is identify where you went wrong in the mocks for geography. Was there a particular part of the curriculum that appeared in the mock that you seemed to answer incorrectly most of the time? Also, I find that when I did past papers for A-levels, i often looked at the mark scheme to help identify specific phrases or words that would gain me marks. I know that it can be really demotivating to get an E grade, but you can absolutely achieve a C grade!
What I am doing currently because I was in the exact same boat, but I am writing out the content I did each lesson over and over again to try get it into my head and so far it is working wonders. I had a lot more to recall for the physical paper by doing this and as i’ve always been better at human, I assume it should be much better for the second paper too.

My teachers have seen significant improvement in my knowledge and now think I have the potential to get a B or even an A depending on how the papers go. If you push hard with this I’m sure you’d be able to achieve a C 🙂

I’m in year 12 and i tried this method yet I still didn’t answer the questions properly or apply the knowledge correctly to the questions, this brought my marks down a lot despite me having the knowledge. Plus I didn’t do enough questions which I regret, i hope i can get a c in my resit I’m just so scared I’ll fail again and get kicked out
use the PEEL paragraph structure if you aren’t already. Point, Evidence, Explain, Link (back to question).
