Do we actually get laundry included in our rent?? i’m having a hard time believing this is true as it is something i’ve never heard a uni do (and they SHOULD do more)

DD1 first year at Glen Eyre. Yes you absolutely do get laundry included in your rent. It even includes washing powder (although there are a couple of machines you can use your own in if sensitive skin etc).
You also get a free bus pass for year 1 if living in halls.
Southampton is fabulous you'll have a blast!

Hi @elljane,

Yes, all official Southampton halls of residence sites offer free 24/7 washing machine and dryer use as part of your accommodation fees. The machines also provide a dose of laundry detergent as part of the wash, although you are welcome to use your own, and also come with a live online tracker of available machines.
