-Top 3 for Law in UK for research power in law (Times Higher Education research power measure, REF2021);

-89% of our Essex Law School UG graduates are in employment or further study (Graduate Outcomes 2023).

We offer you the change to study abroad or take a placement year before your last year of your studies.

Our lecturers work with the UN, the UK government, and with EU and foreign governments. Academic staff within Essex Law School | University of Essex

-Essex Law School provides facilities such Essex Law Clinic where you can use your knowledge and skills to serve the community and help those most in need of legal services;

-Work on key human rights projects at our Human Rights Clinic;

-Network at our student-run Law Society, Human Rights Society, and Bar Society;

-Take advantage of networking opportunities throughout the year with visiting law firms.
