English Literature Disqualification

My sister just sat her edexcel English literature paper 2 exam in the morning and she came out crying accompanied by 2 other teachers. My parents have been informed that an invigilator detected a post it note, presumably one of her notes from revisions, on the back of her arm towards her shoulder near her deltoid muscle. She was unaware of this note and she had absolutely no intention to cheat. She is now almost certainly going to get 0 marks on this paper but we are worried about her other gcses. This includes edexcel maths and the school said in the worst case scenario she may have to resit all her exams in november and will not be allowed to come back for sixth form. Is there any way to appeal her innocence? And how will this affect her near future? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
im sorry but i don't think there is a way to appeal this. even if you so much as accidentally have your phone on you you can get disqualified, even if the examiner is staring at you the whole time and sees that you never took it out. i wish you the best though, i hope there's a way that i'm maybe not aware of.

There’s no way to appeal for this. All GCSE exam boards take cheating very seriously, and so it will be very likely that she will be disqualified from her English Literature qualification, and possibly for all of her Edexcel qualifications.
If the note was hidden on the back of her arm, then surely she had the intention to cheat, or is it just me?
Anyway, if she did have that intention, then it will be a hard lesson, but nothing can be done now.
