Hi! I was really hoping for a Gowned college: I know cuthberts doesn’t have many gowned formals (very few I think and then just matriculation?) but can you still buy a gown etc for the experience? Or does no one really do it.

Hi there

You could buy a gown but you wouldn't wear it in non-gowned formals because it's a standard dress code for the whole college. If you have friends in other gowned colleges though, you can attend their formals by paying a slightly higher ticket price and for that, you'd have to wear a gown.

Hi, I think Cuth's is becoming gowned for formals now, there's a website called cuthsgowns.co.uk that sell them.
