St aidan's college offer holders 2024

are you happy with your college allocation?

It wasn't my first choice (it was actually my 14th I think), but I'm not too sad about it. It seems really nice and friendly (which are the main things that I always look for) even though it's a bit far from the classics department. In general I would have been happy with every college

Hi, anyone allocated to St Aidan's for October 2024? And what subject will you all be doing? (I'm doing classics!)

I Just got allocated it as my 9th choice and I will be studying philosophy and theology. I initially wasn't too pleased but upon further research I like it quite a lot. At the end of the day it is Durham University that matters and the fact we got in!

omg exactly!! like i'm grateful for their offer so everything would have been fine!! philosophy and theology looks so cool, i think we're gonna have some modules in common since i will be doing some philosphy at classical civ!!

yes and historical theology encompasses lots of the classics but I imagine they're held separately? I don't know though. Have you seen the summer ball that St Aidens has? - they literally have a whole fairground put on St Aidens grounds -that redeems the lack of gowned formals hahah
