Durham college allocation

Hi,
I have just had my college allocation back and I'm quite disappointed. I have been allocated a college that was right at the bottom of my rankings, and I really don't think I would be happy there if that's where I ended up. I was hoping for a Bailey college (even though I know they are very difficult to get into) or Hill Bede. I have emailed and they said that they don't do reallocation according to student request. Does anyone have any advice at all?

Hi, more information straight from Durham on their website if you want to check yourself, but the university does not reallocate due to a request unless theres a medical issue - such as the college youv'e been allocated isn't accessible by wheelchair etc. That being said these are only preliminary allocations and allocations may change on/after results day if some colleges are undersubscribed or if one has too high a concentration of a particular subject, so its not set in stone. That being said Stephenson is a really good college and im sure you'll love it when you get there!
