Indeed. England's squad is one of best at this EURO, but their play as team is miserable. Always the same: a golden genration with world class players once in a blue moon, but their play is always average. When it matters, even a golden generation can't answer expectations, see WC 2002, Euro 2004, WC 2006, WC 2018... you know what my point is.
@Zerforax since when you support the English team at tournaments and when it was the last time you have been enthusiastic with their style of play?

First tournament I remember is Euro 96.
Followed England fairly closely until the FA appointed Woy Hodgson as England manager and I realised the FA was run by morons so basically stopped caring around 2012 or so?

My first time was in 1998. The best English I have ever seen was in 2004. Currently at the EURO it is the worst performance as a team so far.

What a match. Havertz misses two big chances after he scored the important penalty. Despite the victory Germany needs an improved performance when the team probably plays against Spain in quarter finals.
In other words: it is a boring match by two disappointing teams and not worth to support.
