Accommodation for posgraduate in Nottingham

Hi,
I will move to Nottingham because I will study a PhD in Biosciences at the University of Notthingham the next October, I am 29 years old and I don't want to be with young people (since I will feel strange because I am older). I am not sure if it is better to look for accommodation outside of the Uni or go to the housing that the uni offers. What recommendations can you give to me?

Hi there,
Firstly, congratulations on starting your PhD! Have you thought about looking at private student accommodation? If you don't want to share with younger students, it may be possible to book a postgraduate only flat (depending on the accommodation) or if you would prefer to live by yourself, a studio. We've got a number of accommodations in Nottingham, feel free to check them out here.
