Hi Adam.
I'm a bit confused about this paper so any advice would be great.
Do I need top learn actual facts aboput the fieldwork or just the processes that went into it?
We went to Bognor Regis and looked at sea defences so I guess this is "mitigating risk" and went to a local town and looked at the town centre and some photos from the past, which must be for the "change over time" section.
What I'm trying to ask is do I need to describe the change in the town (for example) or just how we went about finding this out and the pros and cons of the techniques we used?
Thanks!

@Butkins probs just the techniques rlly. i think that its only like 12/16 marks on fieldwork on the paper so dw too much. just revise what u did on ur trip, where u went, and how u got ur data (and what data u got) and u should be fine. Ik it sounds like a lot but it shouldnt take u too long. All of that is just gonna be Thursday night for me. DW u'll be fine lol

I still need to get my fieldwork because my teacher had my fieldwork but he is not in at the moment (my guess is jury duty because he is not ill we have been told). I will either ask my new teacher if she has it or look at the fieldwork example on Google Classroom. Does anyone have examples of fieldwork from Felixstowe (Physical) or Bury St Edmunds (Human).

It was about climate change so I don't think the GCSE paper will be on climate change.

how did everyone find it? i think it was really good but i feel like some of the fieldwork questions werent worded too nicely. let me know what u wrote about for the last question, i said i strongly agreed that land use zoning was the most sustainable way and i compared it to the use of dams (being less sustainable). hoping i wrote enough!!

Welcome to the chat and TSR

I found it good, I put mostly agree because this means that Schools, Hospitals, Housing and Businesses are rarely flooded. I then put about the importance of these places and how this method would reduce the cost of flooding. For disagree I put about how roads need to cross rivers so they can effectively transport goods and people.
