Black box gave a false reading and the insurance company is now cancelling insurance

I've not long received an email from my provider that they have decided to cancel my insurance due to dangerous driving (recorded 77 in a 60) I looked into this, the road (a B road leading into a 30MPH zone) I know for a fact I didn't speed on nor could I reach the limit due to the time of day and being stuck behind a campervan. I'm 17, this is my first time being insured and have no idea what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated

There's not much you can do. When you get another insurance company, you need to mention that your insurance got cancelled.

For my first car, I didn't go with blackbox insurance.

What do you base that on?

If its not too late- then id cancel the insurance before they do. If they cancel it, then you will have cancelled insurance on your hands and will have to mention it when getting insurance again (which increases the price. Sometimes by quite a bit). Whereas if you cancel it then you are all good.
It may be also be worth questioning it with them if you deffo werent speeding. Those black boxes are known for having glitches/errors and giving false readings.
