I don't remember but i remember it was to a denser material and the refractive index was 1.33

so was it TIR or no

not tir

btw it wasn't area under graph. u might get marks
you had to do a= v-u/t to find the acceleration and then put the other formula and rearrange so s = v^2-u^2 divided by 2 a to get distance

But the Gradient wasn’t constant and it was a curve so you couldn’t really find the acceleration of the curve…

sorry i know this isn’t Relevant but i am doing igcse i have my gcses next year how was it and how was the process
wait guys for the first question was it gravity or gravitational force? i just put gravity is that fine??
was it copper or nickel, i put copper
and for the lamp question i added 1,2 and 3 or did you just have to add 1 and 3
and what did you say for the long charger question, i said that it would have no effect, i crossed out that it would take more time at the last minute, because i thouthgt that if you divide charge/current the time remains the same each time no matter the lennth but i didnt know

it will probs say allow gravity, i put nickel, at first i added 1 2 and 3 but then i changed it to add 1 and 3, i said it would take longer cos distance/speed = time but im probs wrong

How did u guys do in the non-regional paper??

What was the answer for the one about why the iron has a force towards the South Pole ?
I mentioned FLR

i don’t think it’s about that because that’s just a method it’s not proof

i think i said because iron is a soft magnetic material which is easily magnetically induced

But how does that prove the force to the South Pole

magnetism direction is north to south

it’s quite chill tbh, after mocks it just seems like regular exams

the assumption here is that once induced the side facing the bar magnet is the north pole of the iron, hence experiencing force of attraction

did we need to make that clear
Don't know if anyone cares anymore, but found a past paper that had a similar question to that energy store one in this paper but during the main sequence. Question was 'Which energy store of the Sun decreases during nuclear fusion?' and answer was: nuclear
A is incorrect because chemical reactions do not happen in the Sun
B is incorrect because the kinetic store of particles increases during nuclear fusion
D is incorrect because the thermal store of the Sun remains constant whilst fusion is
taking place
Original post by Raniaa123
same I also idid the last one was nuclear and that also increased

Nuclear and chemical stayed the same, gravitational decreased and temperature increased. Fusion has not started yet and only begins at main sequence phase.
