completely agree. The questions were very inaccessible

I don't think I've ever done this badly in a Physics paper...

Like I have done hard papers before but this one the questions didn’t even make any sense. I just hope paper one made up for the lost marks on this paper.
The waves question was so unlike anything I've seen before i dont know why but i found it really hard to visualise.

A lot of bad words where said in my head, but the waves one especially with the refractive index of water was not nice, did anyone struggle with the windmill one? Absolutely diabolical paper that lol

wait i actually found it to be one of the easiest papers ive done but i came on here and everyones saying its hard. what questions guys. i found paper 1 extremely difficult bc i panicked and also paper 2 is better for me bc i get all my marks from MCQs

question 4 was really hard, questions 1 and 2 were weird and required tons of reading before you can do the question. MCQ wasnt too bad

yh i feellike theyre running out of scenarios so r creating random ones that take pages to explain whats going on, but all in all they cant test u on stuff u dont know so i just wrote things like for the water one i said greater refractive index, slower hence shorter wavelength due to const frequ and compared it to the fringe spacing equation. i agree though i take bio chem physics maths and compared to the other two sciences physics is the most creative in their questions

we do required practicals for a reason 😭 use them aqa

Can anyone explain question 2.1? Like how were you supposed to find the force?

I want to go to university to study physics and oh my god I hope they don’t make the exams like that and if they do I need a lot of time 😂, I didn’t finish this paper it was horrific it took me forever to finish the first question and then I didn’t even finish parts of questions 2 or 3 because I just rushed straight to the multiple choice 😂

I mean fair enough with exams there will always be people the find it easy and if you are a fast reader that reads at the speed of light then you’ll be pretty good for that paper 😂, but unfortunately I can’t say the same for myself I just wish that I had access to extra time 😂

It was soooo hard bro so much reading and stuff. Boundaries will be no more than 34 for an A. Hbu?

Yeah I agree with that boundary it seems somewhat fair with many not finishing and also I don’t think that paper 1 will stray too far from that with a lot of people feeling pretty bad about it

guys how many oscillations did u get for the time pq? like it was 0.42 x the number of oscillations. what time did u get and how many oscillations

2.5 oscillations bc that straight line at the end wasnt part of an oscillation but just the pen coming off the paper
