Hi there @shirinaroraa , yes many people work part time jobs throughout their time at university. Getting a part-time job is quite competitive in Kingston due to the concentration of students but many of my friends have had jobs in retail, FnB or working in bars! You would usually get around paid £10/hr for these jobs. There is also a Student Ambassador Scheme which pays well where you may be employed by the university to work with different teams (eg. events, marketing, the library and outreach) on a freelance basis depending on the time of year. If you are an international student you are only able to work for a maximum of 20hrs a week during the school term. Hope this helps.
