Rumours about Queen Mary? (CS student!)

Hello
I've got Queen Mary as my firm choice for CS but heard some pretty mixed rumours about the university!!! I wanted to know anyone can give me more clarity about it.

Rumours:
>Heard the students there are not serious, that it's 'basically another 6th form'
>Heard the year groups are huge and it won't be easy to contact teachers for help
>Out of date facilities? (For Compsci)
>Heard it's hard to find a quiet place to study.
>Heard it's not diverse? (In the sense that there is a large ethnic majority of asians as opposed to a balance of ethnic groups)

Addressing each point:

1. Everywhere you go, you'll find people that take uni seriously, and then those that don't. But it's definitely not "another sixth form".

2. That depends on the degree. In psychology, we are a relatively small cohort of about 120 students and contacting the lecturers is a piece of cake and they're super helpful. Some other degrees do have huge cohorts - law numbers like 3 or 400 students, I want to say? I don't know the exact number but there are so many law students that there literally isn't a big enough lecture theatre in Queen Mary that can fit them all. I'd imagine they might have it a bit harder than I do to reach lecturers but I've never met a law student complain about this, and I know plenty of them. I wouldn't know how the situation is in CS though.

3. No idea about this. All computers on campus run on Windows 10 though, if that tells you anything useful.

4. Campus can be noisy sometimes but there are quiet study areas available in the library and one study room by the canalside. We also have Mile End and Victoria Park next door so if the weather's nice, those are nice, peaceful places to go study. The Queen Mary Café is also a quiet place to study sometimes, but I don't frequent it because it's not on campus itself. The Ground Café, the actual campus café, is a horrible place to study, people go there to hang out and talk.

5. That's correct.
