PGCE Biology

Hi, please can I have some help on what to study for my PGCE biology interview? Can anyone give an example of what science questions they will ask? I didn’t do GCSE’s or A - levels as I live in Ireland so help is greatly appreciated! They told me questions will be in general science. Does anyone remember what they were asked?
Hi Kerry,
congratulations on your interview! I would suggest that you register asap on Get into Teaching to get an adviser, if you have not got one already, they will help you to prepare with your interview. All our advisers are experienced teachers and it is a free service: https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/teacher-training-advisers
or alternatively call us on 0800 389 2500.
I would suggest that you consult the BBC bitesize website for Science, it will give you a quick overview of what the science curriculum in England: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/subjects/z7nygk7, you could also look at the National curriculum for Science.
I hope this helps.
